Maharashtra to screen passengers arriving from 10 countries

Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) Maharashtra government announced on Saturday that it has decided to screen air passengers arriving in the state from at least 10 countries where the coronavirus variant ‘Omicron’ has been detected.
Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde made the announcement here on Saturday.
He said that all hospitals have been directed to inspect and ensure that all the treatment infrastructure is in working order, with sufficient number of beds, stocks of liquid medical oxygen and ventilators to tackle any eventuality.
