Maha: Caretaker CM Shinde down with fever at his native house in Satara

Satara, Nov 30 (UNI) Amidst growing suspense over Maharashtra chief ministerial candidate, caretaker chief minister Eknath Shinde suddenly took ill on Saturday morning with high running fever, forcing him to cancel scheduled meet with party workers and senior leaders during the day to discuss ongoing political developments in the state.
Shinde, who arrived at his native Dare village in the district on Friday evening after cancelling Mahayuti's meeting in Mumbai, was reported to have fever of 104 degrees Celsius this morning, following which a team of doctors was summoned to his house from Satara city to monitor his health. They immediately put him on saline.
State minister and senior Shiv Sena (Shinde) leader Deepak Kesarkar, who was to meet Shinde this morning, had to return to Mumbai after hearing news of Shinde's health.

Through a social media post on X, Thackeray expressed apprehension about the implications of the incident.
According to Thackeray's account, the drone was engaged in what he described as "peeping" into his family's private residence in the early morning hours, causing much anxiety among household members.
