Long arm of the law will catch up with the corrupt who are out on bail: PM mocks Sonia, Rahul

New Delhi, Jun 25 (UNI) Taking a swipe at Indian National Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the corrupt who are out on bail can enjoy as his government does not throw people in jail arbitrarily.
"Our government's fight against corruption will continue. Action against the corrupt is the work of the courts. This is a democracy, we can't throw people in jail arbitrarily. The corrupt who are out on bail can enjoy," Mr Modi said in his Lok Sabha reply to the discussion on Motion of Thanks on the President's Address to Parliament.
On Monday during the debate, Congress leader in the House Adhir Ranjan Chowdhry said the Bharatiya Janata Party had come to power by raking up 2G and Coal allocation scam.
