LJP general secretary and other senior leaders to resign from party

Patna, Jun 12 (UNI) Anguished over denial of tickets in Lok Sabha election, Lok Janshakti
Party (LJP) general secretary and other office-bearers of the party would resign en masse
tomorrow to form their own new party LJP (Secular).
LJP general secretary Dr Satyanand Sharma said here that along with him, Bihar LJP
general secretary and spokesperson Vishnu Paswan and several other office bearers
would resign from their respective posts.
Dr Sharma said he and his supporters would form LJP (Secular) adding if corruption
existed at the root of politics, country and society could not be protected.
He alleged that a person who was not a leader of LJP for single day was given party
symbol first and made member of the party later same day.
This type of game is visible only during election, he added.
“If any person gets party ticket and becomes MP and MLA through corrupt practice, he
would only do corruption,” Dr Sharma remarked.
Without taking name of any leader, Mr Sharma said some leaders were running LJP as
a ‘private limited company’.
He said that one lakh people would write letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP
president and union home minister Amit Shah to demand probe into corruption cases as
they were pursuing policy of zero tolerance against corruption.
