Kollam to host the next school arts festival

Kollam to host the next school arts festival

Kozhikode, Dec 1 (UNI) Kollam district will host the 61 st annual school arts festival (School Kalotsavam 2020).

It was after 12 years that Kollam will host the festival. It was in 2008 that Kollam had hosted the event last.

Sources in the Department of Education, the organisers of the annual school fete, said as usual the next years fest will be held in November-December 2020.

After a neck to neck race till the last item in the event, Palakkad revenue district has retained the gold trophy for the overall championship in the 60th annual School Arts Festival (“School Kalotsavam”).
