Keshav and Anouska lift double crown

Kolkata, Sep 14 (UNI) Keshav Goel and Anoushka Singh lifted a double crown at the just concluded Calcutta South Club AITA Championship Series 2018, held at the synthetic courts of the Calcutta South Club Ltd.
In the final of Girls Singles Under 14, 4th seeded Anoushka Singh displayed a convincing win over top seeded Shimreen Ahamed by a straight 6-3,6-4. Singh then went up to lift the Girls Doubles Under 14 crown, partnering Ahamed.
The duo won against Sundaraneedi Sneha of Andhra Pradesh and Gayatri Ghosh by an easy 6-1,6-1.
The Boys Singles Under 14 final was more of a one-sided affair as 4th seeded Keshav Goel drubbed Sarnaav Ghosh, seeded 3 in the draw, by a dominating 6-1,6-3. Goel also clinched the Boys Doubles Under 14 title, partnering Sarnaav Ghosh and got the better of Tamoghna Das and Vayam Krishna by a straight 6-3,6-1.
