Kenya’s Henry Kiprono wins Rotary Rain Run 2019 half marathon, Sapana Patel of Varanasi tops women’s category

Panaji, Jul 28 (UNI) Henry Kiprono Togom of Kenya won the 5th edition of the Rotary Rain Run’s half marathon which concluded at the SAG stadium at Bambolim near here on Sunday.
Henry clocked an extremely quick 1:09:40 hours for the distance of 21 km pushing back the challenge from Ethiopia’s Isaac Kemboi Ngemul who clocked 1:11:47 hrs followed by India’s Saidappa Myageri who finished in a time of 1:17:48 hrs.
Likewise in the women’s half marathon, Sapana Patel of Varanasi won in style clocking an impressive 1:43:08 hours followed by two Goans, Pratiksha Patil who clocked 1:48:58 and Anita Nishad who clocked 1:51:36.
