Karnataka Cong fuels CM-change rumours, BJP denies

Bengaluru, Aug 9 (UNI) While Karnataka Congress on Tuesday fuelled Chief Minister rumours about an overhaul of state BJP including replacement of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the saffron party ruled out any such development taking place.
The Congress, which feels that the BJP is on the backfoot over the "massive show of strength" at Siddaramotsava at Davanagere, alleged that the saffron party begins its political game of one-upmanship when it is in distress.
"When the state is suffering, it indulges in powerplay. Instead of providing relief to the people suffering from floods at a war footing, Karnataka BJP is looking at installing its third Chief Minister. Whenever the state is in distress, the saffron party begins its power-game," Karnataka Congress tweeted.
