Jammu Police nabs two drug peddlers with 165 gms of heroin

Jammu, Mar 15 (UNI) Police on Friday night nabbed two drug peddlers with contraband of heroin in Gandhi Nagar area here.
Official spokesman said that the police party while performing patrolling at Chhatri Chowk in Gandhi Nagar area noticed two individuals standing in suspicious circumstances and carrying bags.
On seeing patrolling party, they tried to escape in suspicious circumstances but the patrolling party caught hold of them and during frisking, 165 grams of Heroin was recovered from their possession.
The accused identified as Gulzar Ahmed Ganie of Damhal Hajipur, Kulgam and Tanveer Ahmed Kasana of Larnu, Kokernag, Anantnag were arrested on the spot and booked under NDPS Act.
