J C Madhuswami laments over 'poor performance' of students

Belagavi, Nov 13 (UNI) Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, J C Madhuswami on Wednesday lamented over the 'poor performance' of students in competitive exams in the state.
"Our students from rural areas and poor family backgrounds are facing many problems related to competitive exams, there is a need of giving priority to prepare our youths for the competitive examinations by providing proper infrastructure, like other states do,” Mr Madhuswami said after addressing 104th Foundation Day celebration of KLE education Society here.
He said, the government as well as various organisations have given a lot of opportunities in higher education but, it’s time to take call on these facilities to benefit the youths of the state.
