IYD: 2k enthusiasts resonate Yoga near Thames

London, June 23 (UNI) More than 2,000 fitness freaks, cutting across political, religious and federal barriers, stretched, lunged and worked out in a Yoga Camp, set up at this United Kingdom capital, in the backdrop of picturesque Thames river.
According to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, the camp was organised at Olympia West Inodor Stadium on Thursday, in collaboration with the Indian High Commission here, as part of the International Yoga Day,
Speaking on the occasion, he said ''Earlier, the countries governed by the Great Britain were called Common Wealth countries. Nowadays, as people realise that health is the real wealth, Yoga has become the 'Common Wealth' for all across the globe. Gold medalist Olympian Vijendra Singh, who participated in the camp, praised Baba Ramdev and said he was an ardent fan of Yoga, an ancient Indian set of physical, mental, and spiritual practices, which teaches discipline and meditation to its followers.
