New Delhi, Jul 15 (UNI) Higher allocation of funds for construction of roads, issues regarding borrowings and use of modern techniques to prevent road accidents figured prominently in the proceedings of Lok Sabha on Monday as members cutting across party lines deliberated in details on the Demands for Grants for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Saugata Roy of Trinamool Congress also said that he is apprehensive that \\"the government is taking a lot of loans and raising a lot of market borrowings\\".
\\"Whether these loans would ultimately become NPAs if the projects are not completed?\\", asked the former Union Minister.
