Iraq:4.3 magnitude quake jolts northeastern part

Baghdad, Apr 15 (UNI) An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit four districts in Sulaymaniyah and Diyala provinces in northeastern Iraq on Monday.

An Iraqi source said that aftershocks hit the Kalar, Karamian, Kifri and Khanaqin districts of the Sulaymaniyah and Diyala provinces, reports Qatar news agency

The eastern strip of Iraq is experiencing seismic activity, which is periodically exposed to a series of repeated earthquakes.
