Hardoi (UP), Feb 3 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has drained the economy of the country and said that inflation is at its peak during its tenure notwithstanding a promise to double the farmers' income by 2022.
Talking to the reporters here, Akhilesh said that the people are disappointed with the Union Budget. "Nothing has been said about controlling the spiraling inflation and no decision has been taken to reduce unemployment. The inflation is at its peak and prices of essential items like flour and oil are skyrocketing. BJP has drained the economy of the country."
He said that factories were set up in Sandila during the SP regime, but after that not a single factory has been set up in Hardoi district.
