Gandhinagar, Jul 13 (UNI) Sports Minister Kiren Rijiu on Saturday said as part of the preparations for 2020 Tokyo Olympics, India house would be set up in the Japanese capital providing athletes with necessary facilities.
Talking to newsmen here Rijiju said "he would himself lead Indian delegation to Tokyo as part of the Olympic preparations. Nutritional food as per the advice of the coach and nutritionist and other technical facilities would also be made available."
To a query the minister said, "the government has ensured that all the players get full honour and a system for financial assistance for those who had in the past won a medal at National or International event, but were living in misery, their grievances will also be addressed."
