HJS demands experts to study defemation matter in 'Renaissabce State:the Unwritten Story book

Kolhapur, Jun 2 (UNI) Hindu Janjagran Samiti (HJS) has demanded to constitute a committee of scholars of history to study defemation matter in 'Renaissabce State, the Unwritten Story of the making Maharashtra , written by journalist Girish Kuber on Chhatrapati Sambhaji and Maharani Soyarabai and the sail of book should be banned till such time.
In a press release today, Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of HJS expressed sounder that why was the state government silent about the book by Mr Kuber? and why Mr Kuber who promptly apologised over an editorial on Mother Teresa, not apologise over the contempt of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj so far?
Mr Shinde said that Mr Kuber's 'Renaissance State : The Unwritten Story of the Making of Maharashtra' has caused a wave of huge rage in the followers of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Many organizations have accused the defamation of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in this book, and descendants of Chhatrapati's crown in Kolhapur Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje has also demanded a ban on this book. It is surprising that the State Government has not yet taken any action. Therefore, the HJS has demanded that the Government should appoint a committee of scholars of history to study the defamatory matter in the book and take appropriate action. Till such time, the sale of the book should be banned demanded Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Such a demand was made by sending a letter by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra State.
