Hardik Pandya, K L Rahul suspended pending inquiry

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Lewd comments made on talk show by all-rounder Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and opening batsman K L Rahul have been suspended pending an inquiry as they may miss the remainder of the Australia tour and the upcoming limited-overs tour of New Zealand.

Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) member Diana Edulji on Friday said both be suspended and an inquiry be carried out. The Committee of Administrators (CoA) has sent fresh show-cause notices to the players informing them of this development.

Both players are currently in Australia.

The duration of the suspension of both players is not yet known, but may be axed from the remainder Australia tour and upcoming New Zealand limited-overs tour.
