HAL orders inquiry into Su-30 MkI Crash by its Board of Investigation

Bengaluru, June 27 (UNI) Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has ordered an inquiry by the Board of Investigation to find the exact reason for Su 30Mkl crash at HAL Nashik during a sortie in local flying area of Ozar Airport at 11 hours.
HAL, headquarterd in Bengaluru, in a release here on Wednesday said that " Su 30 MkI, produced at HAL Nashik crashed during a sortie in local flying area of Ozar (Nashik) Airport today at 11 hrs."
Stating that both the pilots were safe, HAL release added " It was piloted by Wg Cdr Prashant Nair accompanied by Sqn Ldr L Biswal (Flight Test Engineer). Both ejected safely."
