GTPL Hathway’s net profit up 37 pc in Q3

Ahmedabad, Jan 13 (UNI) Digital Cable TV and Broadband Service provider GTPL Hathway has reported a 37 per cent rise in its profit after tax (PAT) during the third quarter of the current financial year.

According to a statement issued by the company here today, the Revenue (ex EPC) was reported at Rs. 5,530 million for Q3 FY21, up 21 pc in comparison to the same quarter of the last fiscal. Profit after tax was reported at Rs 452 million; up 37 pc year-on-year in Q3FY21. CATV subscription revenue was reported at Rs. 2,718 million, up 5 pc while the broadband revenue at Rs. 778 million was up 84 pc year-on-year (YOY).

On a nine monthly basis, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 1,314 million in 9MFY21, up 45% as compared to the same period of the last financial year. Consolidated 9MFY21 revenue (ex-EPC) was reported at Rs. 15,311million; up 17% Y-o-Y.

GTPL Hathway Limited is number one Cable TV Provider in Gujarat with 67% market share. Its services are in over 800 towns across India, in states of Gujarat, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand, Telangana, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Till December 31, 2020, it had approximately 7.35 million paying subscribers and 5,90,000 Broadband Subscribers with a home pass of about 3.80 million.
