Global nCoV cases surpasses 20.2 mln

Washington, Aug 12 (UNI) The number of global novel Coronavirus cases has surpassed 20.2 million on Wednesday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The global cases tally stood at 20,525,986 with 745,971 deaths and 13,447,901 recoveries. the University's Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed in its latest update.
The US accounted for the world's highest number of infections and fatalities at 5,305,957 and 167,749 respectively, according to the CSSE.
Brazil came in the second place with 3,112,393 infections and 103,099 deaths.
India came in the third place with 2,330,327 infections and 46,197 deaths.
