FPO is good for farmers but difficulties followed in Tripura: Members

Udaipur, Jun 21 (UNI) Bagma Producers Organisation CEO S Majumdar today said the Farmers Producers Organisation (FPO) is very important for the development of farmers but there are problem to constitute FPO because there are many problem of government rules and many problem had to be faced in Tripura.
Talking to UNI here, Mr Majumder said the FPO is very important for the development of farmers but there are problem to constitute FPO also there are many problem of government rules and many problem had to be faced because the previous state government of Tripura was not friendly.
An organization, named Gram Bikas Farmers’ Club (GBFC) which located at Dakshin Bagma area under Tepaniya RD Block, Udaipur, Gomati District, Tripura. The club established under the proper guidance of NABARD and the club was approved by NABARD in the year 2005 and the major activities of the club members are promotion of livelihood activities through dairy, fishery, apiary, mushroom cultivation, paddy cultivation through proper System of Rice Intensification (SRI) methodology, identification of potential customers for TGB towards deposit mobilization, Issue of KCC, JLG formation, development of market opportunities for member.
