Four killed in Naxal attack in poll-bound Chhattisgarh

Dantewada, Nov 8 (UNI) At least four people, inluding a CRPF Jawan were killed in an Iimprovised Explosive Device blast, set off by Naxalites on Thursday, police sources said.

The National Mineral Development Corporation bus was blown up in the Maoist stronghold of Dantewada, while en route from Akash Nagar to Bacheli.

It was returning after the purchase of some day-to-day essentials.

Besides the Central Reserve Police Force Jawan, the bus driver, the cleaner and another passenger died.

A few other CRPF personnel were also on board the bus.

The victims are yet to be identified. Two injured were rushed to hospital.

Police have reached the spot.

Jammu, May 19 (UNI) An Assistant Sub Inspector of BSF suffered injuries as Pakistan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir
"An ASI of BSF was injured on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday after India and Pakistan exchanged firing in forward area of Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district," official sources here said.
