Daltonganj, Sep 23 (UNI) Deputy Director of Palamu Tiger Reserve and IFS officer Kumar Aashish said that the nearly 300 elephants residing inside the PTR will be most benefitted with the completion of the Mandal Dam project.
He said that with the completion of the project the issue of water will be solved for the tuskers who prefer living in areas that are full of water.
Further, the dam will also draw a large number of migratory birds. To a query, he said that elephants inside the PTR are filling their stomach with food available inside the reserve and seldom cause damage to humans.
