ED conducts raids in Mohali & Chandigarh over alleged real estate fraud

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at 12 locations across Mohali and Chandigarh in connection with alleged large-scale irregularities linked to the Suntec City project and multiple real estate firms.
A senior ED official said that the searches are linked to allegations involving fraudulent procurement of CLU licences from Greater Mohali Area Development Authority and alleged cheating of investors involving hundreds of crores.
The probe reportedly involves Ajay Sehgal, ABS Townships Pvt Ltd, Altus Builders, Dhir Constructions, and their associates.
