Islamabad, Aug 19 (UNI) Pakistan's First Lady wearing a Burkha at her husband Imran Khan swearing in as Prime Minister, has drawn attention of critics.
Some said that Bushra Imran choice was ‘not fit’while others admired her for dress 'modestly', a report published in The Express Tribune said on Sunday.
A social media user lauded the freedom of choice for women to choose to dress as they please in ‘Naya Pakistan’.
Bushra’s attire was the least of the problems the public should be worried about, Sociologist Nida Kirmani spoke said.
“I can’t believe people still think they have a say on what Bushra Maneka chooses to do or wear. None of your concern,' a social media user commented.
Notwithstanding, a Twitter user said that “Bushra Bibi has reached and I’m a little disappointed. But I think this is how she wants to be”.
