Documentary film has a great future, inspire youths: Governor Dr Najma Heptula

Imphal, Aug 20 (UNI) Governor Dr Najma Heptulla today appealed to make good documentary films which will inspire youngsters to stand for righteousness and promote good social causes.
She said Manipur can produce more numbers of quality documentary films for the overall good of the society.
Releasing a documentary film ‘Leina ga nungthang ga’ (Petals and Hammer)” organised by Resource - a Community Development Initiative, Manipur here today at Raj Bhavan, the Governor said the documentary will inculcate the rich ethos of Manipuri women in the young generation. The documentary film produced by Iswari Haobam aims to encourage the artisans and enhance the development of traditional jewellery apart from improving their livelihood and empowering themselves in the society.
