Dhruv Trophy: Chandigarh, Amritsar road to final

Chandigarh, Jun 1 (UNI) Chandigarh and Amritsar moved into final of the Punjab Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament for Dhruv Pandove Trophy on Friday.
Chandigarh got better of Patiala on the first innings lead in the semi-final at I.S. Bindra Stadium PCA Mohali as they rattled up 452 for 8 in 152 overs when the match ended. They made it to the finals at the expense of Patiala district on 140 runs first innings lead.
Resuming at overnight 201 for 3 in 68 overs, the overnight pair of Ayush Gautam and Saksham Gupta made steady progress and took the total to 245 in 86.4 overs when Saksham Gupta was caught by Nimit Sharma off Paras Jaidka for 14 off 81 balls with one boundary. Chandigarh innings was jolted once again with the new batsman Ayush Sikka being castled by Paras Jaidka for 05 reducing Chandigarh to 251 for 5 in 88.3 overs.
