Dengue virus continues in Sri Lanka with nearly 19,000 infected

Colonbo, Sep 28 (UNI/Xinhua) The number of people infected with dengue fever has risen to nearly 19,000 in Sri Lanka so far this year and the virus has caused 10 deaths, health officials here said Tuesday.

Most recently, over 1,000 confirmed dengue cases were reported and more than 100 of them were in Colombo, they said.
