Covid-19: Indiscipline of NRI man causes anxiety in Kerala

Palakkad, March 26 ( UNI) The irresponsible behaviour on a Dubai-based NRI in Karakurrissi near here has become a matter of serious concern for the district authorities after the man was tested positive for Coronavirus recently.
The man from Dubai who reached Karipur airport on March 13 had violated home quarantine and had visited several places prior to testing positive and being put up on isolation on March 21.
Accordingly, all the seven members in the family has also been put on home quatantine.
"It is not he being testing positive which bothers us but his vast and wide travel all across. We are in committed effort to contain further spreading. The route map of his travel will be released soon", the district collector D Balamurali has said.
One of his sons is a conductor in KSRTC in Mannarghat depot and had been on duty in bus upto Thiruvananthapuram. This is yet another headache for the administration.
A similar situation had caused serious concern when a gulf-returned there had came in contact with many by violating home quarantine norms. The test result of his contacts are expected today.
Now the district authorities of Palakkad will be on a tough task in getting samples of the NRIs contacts tested and move further
