COVID-19 : 80 fresh cases reported in AP since last 24 hrs, death toll rises to 27

Vijayawada, Apr 23 (UNI) The steep rise of Coronavirus positive cases continued in Andhra Pradesh as 80 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 893 and the pandemic had claimed 27 lives so far.
A health bulletin here on Thursday said, the 80 fresh Coronavirus cases were reported from 9 am on Wednesday to 9 am on Thursday.
Of the 80 new cases, 31 reported in Kurnool district, 18 in Guntur district, 14 in Chittoor district, 6 each in Anantapur and East Godavari districts, two each in Krishna and Prakasam districts and one in Visakhapatnam.
