Covid-19: 6,508 new cases detected in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 8 (UNI) A record 6,508 fresh Covid-19 patients and 34 deaths, the highest so far in a single day, were reported today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 2,18,294 and the toll to 2,587, respectively.
On the other hand, 3,033 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking the overall count of recoveries to 1,79,856.
There are now 35,851 active cases in the district, an official report said.
