Constable injured in militant attack on Police Post in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 26 (UNI) A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was injured when militants attacked Police Post (PP) in the uptown Srinagar on Friday evening, a police spokesman said.
He said militants fired on PP Chanapora in the uptown on Srinagar-Charar-e-Sharief road this evening. Security forces also retaliated and in the exchange of fire a constable Feroz Ahmad was injured who has been hospitalised, spokesman said adding he was undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, he said, security forces have launched a search operation in the area to nab the militants responsible for the attack, he said a case has been registered.
