Cong led Praja Kutami lodges complaint with CEO against erring officials and police for carrying money of TRS

Hyderabad, Dec 6 (UNI) Congress led Prajakutami (TDP, TJS,CPI) leaders on Thursday evening lodged a complaint with State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Dr Rajat Kumar against the erring officials, electronic media and press and police vehicles which are carrying huge money at the instance of the ruling TRS caretaker government.

We have reliably learnt that the channels headed by (indirectly or directly) , the TRS party and its supremo , son, son-in-law (without mentioning names) , daughter and their relatives, benamis , have been carrying money in their media vehicles for the purpose of distributing the same to the voters which is an electoral offence, they said in its complaint.

Not only the vehicles of press and media but the 108 ambulances have also been used for the purpose of carrying and distributing money to buy the voters undemocratically, they alleged.

They requested the EC to direct the police to stop electronic media vehicles particularly “ T Channel” and Print Media’ vehicles particularly ‘ Namasthe Telangana ‘ and check the vehicles in the presence of cadre of the opposition parties so as to check the corrupt practices of the ruling TRS party and its print media and electronic media and their sister concern of print media and electronic media from carrying ill-gotten money to be distributed by way of corrupt practices to fetchmore votes by defeating the democratic process of election.

We appreciate, if orders are issued immediately as tonight is the most crucial night for bribing voters of the state, they said the police are deliberately trying to blame the Congress and Prajakutami as they are declaring without any enquiry that seized money is belonging to the congress party and Prajakutami candidates.

The Prajakutami leaders requested the CEO to direct the police to restrict from such spot announcements till the complete enquiry.

They also requested the CEO to direct the police authorities immediately to stop the harassment of workers of Prajakuntami to take steps to prevent the transfer of money in Medica vehicles.
