Cong appeals to people of Chandigarh to make Bharat bandh successful

Chandigarh, Sept 9 (UNI) Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Congress State President Pradeep Chhabra appealed for the support of the people towards Bandh call of the on September 10, 2018 saying that by imposing heavy taxes on petrol and diesel by the Modi Government, petrol, diesel and LPG prices have started skyrocketing.
On this occasion, Bansal said that "the real GDP which is growing is - gas, diesel and petrol." Heavy taxation on petrol / diesel, in the last 52 months by the Modi government has made profits of more than Rs 11 lakh crore.
Petrol-Diesel prices are the highest in history and common people, middle class, farmers, transporters, small and medium businesses are forced to groan under the burden of inflation.
