New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force on Tuesday nabbed a lady passenger carrying 1.327 Kg of gold worth 42 lakh at the Indira Gandhi International airport, CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh told UNI.
According to CISF, at about 0314 hrs on November 6, during frisking at Security Hold Area of Terminal-1D, IGI Airport, a CISF lady constable detected eight gold bars weighing about 1.327 kg from a lady passenger concealed inside her shoes.
The lady was identified as Ms Karishma Thakur, who arrived from Chennai with a co-passenger namely Ms Divya Kukreja by Air India flight and further bound for Mumbai by IndiGo flight.
