CIDCO, Maha Metro officials inspect Metro line no 1

Thane, Feb 23 (UNI) CIDCO has appointed Maha Metro for the fast implementation of line no 1 from Belapur to Pendhar and accordingly on 23.02.2021 Maha Metro has deployed a team of 20 expert engineers for ground level execution. CIDCO’s VC & MD Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee along with MD of Maha Metro Mr. Brijesh Dixit, JMD of CIDCO Mr. Ashwin Mudgal, the team of CIDCO & Maha metro engineers visited Metro sites and examined the current status. CIDCO continues as project proponent and Maha Metro will be Engineer to the project. They will work under the guidance of CIDCO.

An official release by CIDCO on Tuesday stated “CIDCO is developing four elevated corridors under Navi Mumbai Metro to make the public transport system of Navi Mumbai more efficient and interconnect different nodes. Trial run of line 1 admeasuring 11.1 kms with 11 stations and a depot at Taloja was conducted successfully.
