China Mining accident leaves 20 dead

Beijing, Feb 23 (UNI) At least 20 people were killed and 30 other injured when the bus in which they were travelling lost control due to failure of brakes and crashed into the side of the tunnel in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday on Saturday.
According to Xinhua, the accident occurred at around 0820 hrs local time.
Among the victims, 15 died at the site while one person died on the way to the hospital and four others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, local authorities said adding that they have initiated the emergency response system and dispatched rescue teams to the site.
