Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) Neha of Manav Mangal High School and Arnav of Gurukul Global School emerged state champions in the Sub Junior Girls and Boys Singles (Under 15 years) category in the 2nd Cadet and Sub-Junior Chandigarh State Table Tennis Championships at the Sector 50 Table Tennis Hall here.
Neha and Arnav emerged victorious by defeating Pelf of Learning Path School and Samarth of Gurkul Global School, respectively on Sunday.
In the Cadets event (Under 12 years), the boys singles title was won by Vishal of Tender Heart School by defeating Pritish of Learning Path School by 11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 11-9) and the girls singles title was won by Manal of Gurukul Global School by defeating Teetiksha of Tender Heart School by 11-8, 11-7, 11-13, 11-9.
Tender Heart School won the Cadet Boys and Girls Team (Under 12 years) titles by defeating DAV Public School in both the finals.
In the Sub Juniors Team category (Under 15 years), the girls of Manav Mangal High School got the better of Carmel Convent School to win the the title.
In the Sub Junior Boys Team category, Gurukul Global School defeated Tender Heart School Sector 33.
