Centre committed to World-Class urban infra, says Sanjay Seth; robotic parking facility inaugurated in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 5(UNI) Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth on Wednesday said the Central Government is committed to upgrading urban infrastructure with world-class facilities, as he inaugurated a new 14-storey Multi-Level Car Parking Facility at the Defence Offices Complex on Africa Avenue in the national capital.
Addressing officials and guests at the inauguration, Seth said the government's focus on modern urban infrastructure is aimed at providing efficient and technologically advanced public facilities.
"The commitment of the government to develop and upgrade urban infrastructure is to provide world-class facilities," he said.

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned for two weeks the hearing on a petition by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) challenging Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s decision recognising the merger of its six rebel MPs with the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) Observing that every individual has the right to travel abroad and choose his medical treatment, the Supreme Court on Monday permitted Trinamool Congress leader and MP Abhishek Banerjee to travel abroad for three weeks in September for treatment of his eye, while directing him to furnish his complete travel and treatment details to the investigating agency – West Bengal Police.
