Vijayawada May 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre is adopting vindictive politics on the state.
Speaking on the first day of three-day annual Mahanadu Conclave at Siddhartha Engineering College ground here on Sunday, Mr Naidu also alleged that the Centre is showing discrimination towards AP and refused to grant Special Category Status (SCS) to the state.
“The Centre is using the CBI, ED ad IT departments as weapons to intimidate opposition leaders. The BJP polluted politics. The Governor system was misused in Karnataka. The BJP formed government even though it had no simple majority with a confidence of buying MLAs. However, Mr B S Yeddyurappa resigned in an unavoidable political situation” the Chief Minister charged, claiming that he gave a call to the Telugu people living in Karnataka not to vote for the BJP and that is why it did not get simple majority.
