Celebrating 36 yrs to 1983 WC victory, Ranveer Singh shares reel '83 glimpses

New Delhi, Jun 25 (UNI) The proudest moment for every Indian, the iconic moment when the country won the '83 World Cup clocks 36 years on Tuesday and to usher in the recall of the victory, the reel team's Captain Ranveer Singh shares glimpses from the training.

This day June 25, 1983 was the day when India had won the world with their cricketing excellence.

Ranveer Singh shared the winning by, "36 years ago on this day, India turned the world upside down!!! #ThisIs83".

With a quote from Rocky Balboa, the video gives glimpses of the enthusiasm and dedication they put into making this most awaited sports film of the year.

The director Kabir Singh gives the perfect closure to the video as he exclaims, "Yeah, okay, Perfect".

Tracing the historic victory of 1983 world cup, Kabir Khan's upcoming directorial is being presented by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment and will star Ranveer Singh as the former captain of the Indian Cricket Team Kapil Dev.

Touted to be the "biggest sports film" of the country, '83 is slated to hit the screens on April 10, 2020 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
