BONN launches new products line ‘La Americana Gourmet’, plans expansion in South

Chandigarh, May 16 (UNI) BONN, a Ludhiana (Punjab) based FMCG major in bread and other bakery products announced on Wednesday to launch premium products line under its new brand ‘La Americana Gourmet', planning its expansion in Southern and other parts of the country in near future.
Sharing strategic plans on the sidelines of launching ceremony of the new brand and products, BONN Group of Industries Director Amrinder Singh said, “We are strengthening our presence in North including Delhi NCR with our existing and new products line and will soon make foray in to the markets four Southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana and thereafter, other parts of the country.”
“We have as of now 11 manufacturing plants spread across North and fleets of over 400 trucks and will increase these numbers as and when entering in to the other markets," he said.
Under the ‘La Americana Gourmet’, the company today launched whole wheat bran Burger Bread and Pav, Garlic and Multi-grain Footlongs, Bran Bread, Honey Oat Bread, Garlic Oregano Breads with natural ingredients and eggless lemon, Butter Scotch and Choco Vanilla Cakes and others.
Company's Chief Executive Officer Parveen Garg said “The present market size of bread is about Rs 3,000 crore which is growing at 10 to 15 per cent per annum and at the same time we have also grown at 15 per cent on year on year basis in the segment and in biscuits market tremendously over 40 per cent. We are present in over 55 countries with our biscuits and other bakery products.”
