New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) The Bollywood celebrities on Monday congratulated Vinesh Phogat, who created history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at the Asian Games 2018.
The Indian film fraternities took to their social media account Twitter and congratulated Vinesh for winning gold, saying the country is proud of her.
“Congratulations Golden Girl, @Phogat_Vinesh for creating history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at the Asian Games! More power to you,” Akshay Kumar said in a tweet.

Vinesh thumped Japanese Irie Yuki 6-2 to take the numero uno spot in the 50 kg category.
Vinesh took a 4-0 lead in the final.
This is the second medal for India in wrestling while earlier Bajrang Punia was the first to claim the Gold metal.
