Body of a youth recovered from river in Palamu

Chatra, Sep 14 (UNI) Police today recovered body of a youth who had drowned in Mahane river under Itkhori Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Khemlal Ganjhu, a resident of Sarheta village.
Police said that the youth who was a football player went to the local market. While returning home he was swept away by the strong currents of the river four days ago.
His family members had been searching for him for the last few days but could not trace him. Today his body was found floating in the shallow water by shepherds. Later the body was sent for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.

24 bands for Nagaland Hornbill Festival
