BJP never treated SC/ST as vote bank :Yogi

Agra, Oct 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that BJP was the saviour of the Dalits in the true sense because it never treated people belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as a vote bank and had worked for their improvement.
"In the last four and a half years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proved that he is the true friend of the Dalits. BJP is the only party in India which does not believe in caste and works for the betterment of each and every individual," Mr Adityanath said, while inaugurating the state working committee meeting of the Anusuchit Morcha of the party in the Taj city.
He said that BJP had given respect to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar while other parties had used him as a vote bank.
