BJP keen for dialogue between Centre and Naga group ENPO

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The BJP leadership is keen for 'talks' between the Central government and Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) to discuss matters pertaining to four far-flung and under developed regions of Nagaland.
The four districts are Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire.
"We favour talks between the Centre and the concerned group ENPO. The four districts send as many as 20 MLAs to the 60-member state assembly and we will be working hard to ensure development in this region and also rest of Nagaland," a party source said here.
The ENPO, which is spearheading a new and separate statehood demand, essentially caters to Naga tribes - Konyaks, Changs, Sangtams, Yimchungers, Phoms and Khiamniungans.
Sources said the Union Home Ministry is seized of the matter and some informal communication is on.
The 16th state of Nagaland is in the midst of interesting political developments as the Centre has lately claimed that its parleys with National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-Isak Muivah) has reached an 'advanced stage'.
The Centre also appointed R N Ravi, former negotiator for Naga peace talks, as the new Governor of the state.
