BIAL signs MoU with Simens for digital transformation of Kempegowda International Airport

Bengaluru, Sept 14 (UNI) Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) and Simens have signed a Memorandum of Understnading (MoU) to jointly drive the digital transformation of the Kempegowda International Airport (BLR Airport).
The MoU envisages cooperation in a number of areas, including the digitalisation of existing infrastructure through the use of Internet of Things (IoT) applications, according to a release here on Friday..
BLR Airport is the third busiest airport in India, having handled over 25 million passengers in 2017.
