Asian schools indoor rowing championship progressing well, completed in Bangladesh, parts of India and to take off in Sri Lanka

Kolkata, Nov 25 (UNI) After receiving encouraging response across India and Bangladesh since it began in Kolkata on September 9 last, the inaugural Asian Indoor School Rowing Championship will begin its campaign in Sri Lanka during the first week of December, Shakeel Ahmed, chief Coordinator of Bengal Water Sports, the organiser of the meet said.
Speaking about the championship at Bangladesh leg, Shakeel, who conducted the championship in Dhaka, informed “ the response from students there was very good as more than 8,000 of them took part in the championship earlier this month”.
