Wellington, Oct 17 (UNI) The New Zealand Labour Party led by Jacinda Arden claimed a landslide victory in the country's general elections on Saturday, winning nearly 50 per cent of the votes polled.
The data at 1700 hrs (IST) showed that with 99 per cent of the votes counted, Labour was on 49 per cent, National was on 26.8 per cent, the Greens are on 7.6 and ACT was on 8 per cent.
