AP Minister highlights investment opportunities at Paris roadshow

Visakhapatnam/Paris, Oct 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh is emerging as one of the most promising destinations for foreign investments in India, State Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar said today.
Addressing a roadshow in Paris, the Minister expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh offers vast opportunities to attract overseas investors compared to other states. The event was organised with the support of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFI).
The Minister highlighted the immense potential in various sectors, including agriculture, food processing, electronics, green energy, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and science and technology.
He invited French industrialists to participate in the CII Partnership Summit, jointly organised by the State Government and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15.
Gottipati also detailed the implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Clean Energy Policy – 2024, designed to attract global investors to the renewable energy sector.
He urged French investors to take advantage of the State’s “Speed of Doing Business” initiatives, industry-friendly policies, and attractive incentives. He emphasised that Andhra Pradesh stands out as a highly favourable investment hub due to its long natural coastline, advanced ports, airports, and strong infrastructure.
The Minister stressed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the State is progressing rapidly with a business-friendly government committed to facilitating global partnerships.
During his visit, the Minister also met with representatives of EDF, a leading French renewable energy company. He invited EDF and other French firms to establish investments in the State's vast solar, wind, and hybrid energy potential.
The Roadshow was also attended by Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board CEO Sai Kanth Varma, CCIFI President Koumar Anand, and Shalia Shah, Counsellor at the Embassy of India in France.
